SchoolSites websites have NO SETUP FEE and cost only €95 plus vat per year. This includes your hosting and access to tutorials and documentation so it’s a great service at an incredibly low price.

What you get with each SchoolSite

  • Ready-to-go Website - Your SchoolSite comes ready-made with all the pages, news topics, news items and resources/links you will need to get your school started. (See an example schoolsite and more information on default pages).
  • Choice of layouts – choice between two website layouts and both designs have school-related images as standard. You can also choose to upload your own images and add your own content once your SchoolSite is live.
  • Change appearance – you can change the background colour, website colours, font, images and every other aspect of your website’s appearance using a simple control panel.
  • Control Panel – easy-to-use control panel where you can update and manage your entire school website. You can update pages, news items, links and change the appearance of your entire website! You can even add other users to your website to allow, for example, the Board of Management or PTA access to add news items to the school website. It’s very flexible!
  • Domain name – every SchoolSite gets a free domain from us – your website address will be yourschool.schoolsites.ie. (yourschool is the name of your school e.g. SampleNS.schoolsites.ie). If you would like to use your own domain e.g. SampleNS.ie you can easily add this domain to your website using your SchoolSites control panel and we provide full instructions on how to do this.
  • Hosting - your website hosting is included in your monthly subscription – no extra charges apply (unless you wish to increase the amount of storage for your website).
  • Documentation, training & support – all SchoolSites have access to a Support Ticket system, FAQs, documentation and tutorials/training. We also provide free advice and articles on making the most of your school website.  More about and Support.

Still Want More?

If that’s not enough for you there are some Optional Extras available. You can choose to ‘turn on’ some features such as Enrolment Forms or order a custom-designed banner image or ever outsource your entire website setup and updating to us. Check out Extras for more information.
